Something I’ve learned outside of school is how to play a guitar.
One bright summer day, my mother told me to came and asked me if I would like to play the guitar. She said that knowing how to play a music instrument is good, and also it could be important for scholarship in the future.First I totally refused. My mom doesn’t allowed me to say no. She said that IMUST learn. First I was so depressed. Learning guitar in the beginning is a nightmare. It really hurts my left hand’s fingers.
I started with using chords in additional to song, learning Valse, Fox, Blues, Boston, Slow, etc. Then I start with writing simple chords in songs, to more complicated ones.I’ve then learned to play the tones of the song. Lastly, I combined the tones within the chords to create beautiful sound. Guitar seems to be so fun for me now!
Days pass, and playing guitar became quite formiliar to me. I’ve mastered the basic, and now I can enjoy playing any songs (With Practices, of course).
How about you, What did YOU learned outside of school?
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in Transkei, South Africa on July 18, 1918. His father was Chief Henry Mandela of the Tembu Tribe. Mandela himself was educated at University College of Fort Hare and the University of Witwatersrand and qualified in law in 1942. He joined the African National Congress in 1944 and was engaged in resistance against the ruling National Party’s apartheid policies after 1948. He went on trial for treason in 1956-1961 and was jailed in 1961.
During his years in prison, Nelson Mandela’s reputation grew steadily. He was widely accepted as the most significant black leader in South Africa and became a potent symbol of resistance as the anti-apartheid movement gathered strength. He consistently refused to compromise his political position to obtain his freedom.
First, to be sure, I did like almost nothing in the entire school break.
In the school break, I stayed home, going on the internet for the entire day, doing small things like getting out for drinks, going bathroom, taking a bath, having breakfast, dinner and lunch. I’d even awkwardly looking at my window.
My school break seems to be boring other than others.
My first days of the break, I came to singapore ~ my 3rd time 🙂
It was a fine trip, but unluckily the airplane ticket get delayed without notification.
So we miss the plane, paid another 100$ for the hotel, and so coming back home the very morning (2 am)
